ABOUT ME

Hi. I’m Ashley de Jong, “Ash” once we meet. I’m a mom, step-mom, wife, Mimi (grandmother), dog mom, daughter and friend.  I am a recent graduate of the Going with Grace End of Life Training (150 hours) and hold the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance Proficiency Badge.  I am currently studying to be a Certified Senior Advisor and earned my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Texas.

I worked as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and led a national coalition to advocate for medical privacy in a digital age.  Prior to grad school I spent several years as a paralegal for law firms specializing in nursing home regulation, estate planning and probate. I learned a great deal when my father died at the age of 74.

But Before You Go brings me full circle, connecting all of those dots.  As for me personally, I hope to say with confidence at the end that I loved and was loved, deeply. That will be enough.

I want you to walk away with clarity and tangible tools you can use. Let’s chat (no pressure) and find out what you need.
